Relationship list. With a bonus!
Affection- Kabuto has strong feelings for and will be actively protective of.
Heather: Kabuto at first saw Heather as a potential tool and resource, especially since he was so new to the camp at the time. Somewhere along the line though, Heather won his respect for her capabilities and what she'd endured, and he became very, very accustomed to her regard. Kabuto's affections towards her are not 100% sincere- not all those endearing moments of his with her come from the heart, but he does honestly care for her, even if that emotion is tangled and wrapped up in layers of pretense, artifice and justification.
Likes- Kabuto has developed some sort of fondness or respect for these indivuals, and will keep an altruistic eye out for them.
Yue Ying: One of his first patients, Kabuto sees her as one of the more level-headed people amongst those he knows at camp, and respects her capabilities and judgement. He's also still a little embarassed about not twigging to her evil clone faster, and wonders if there's still any way he can get more than the plans for exploding vases off her. Is frustrated over the whole mystery over her actions against Zhang He and the real reasons behind them. I'm not exactly sure if I've got him viewing her as some sort of mother-figure like half of the camp seems to, though.
Anakin: Sympathises over his situation with Ash, and another patient of his. Seems fairly reliable and level-headed (towards Kabuto), and that's rare enough at camp that there's no point messing with it. Still wondering about the 'made out of 70-80% angst' bit though.
Superboy: Kon used to be Amusing, as he spazzed out so well. However, several things have changed that. One, Superboy is an important friend to Heather, which makes him obliged to treat the superhero well by association. Two, Superboy was expecting, which made Kabuto view him more as a full-time patient than a target- now that the child is born, Kabuto gets enough humor just watching the kid wreak havoc. And lastly... Superboy was there for Heather when Kabuto was kidnapped, something which Kabuto appreciates highly. He doesn't actually
like Superboy, being generally neutral in his personal feelings towards Kon, but because of the above reasons, Kabuto is keeping a friendly eye out for him. Kabuto's recently started using Kon's real name, as opposed to his codename, as a sign of this.
Soushi: Despite their first meeting involving Soushi nude and suffering from the aftermath of being a
baking soda crackwhore, Kabuto's rapidly come to develop a liking for Minashiro. He recognises Soushi as a fellow manipulative bastard, and they snark well together on subjects such as Ash. Kabuto respects Soushi's intelligence and morals, but wonders if Rey will prove to be his undoing.
Calanthe: Well, Cal got on Kabuto's good side initially during the genderchange by teaching him how to drink wine. Since then, Kabuto's become somewhat amused by Cal's flirting and manners, and picks up on the Wraethu's darker aspects as well- which only makes the medic nin more interested.
Takumi: Possibly the fastest jump to Liked so far, Takumi's 'victim boy' vibe brings out what protective instincts he has quite strongly. And really, the constant 'Yakushi-sensei's' out of him only help.
Evangeline: Kabuto Likes her for a variety of reasons- Evangeline is smart, witty, and doesn't have so many troublesome morals as some of the other campers. However, despite that and the agreement they have between them, Evangeline is a little too obvious and unsubtle at times for him- offscreen, he winced when she told the entire camp that they were in an alliance, although he appreciated the aid she's gave. Recently, he took a big step in asking her for personal advice, which he found quite helpful- she's possibly one of the indivuals he respects the most at camp right now.
Curious/Not worth it- Kabuto has deemed these people as possesing qualities that would make antagonising them wasteful, at least without further observation. He doesn't necessarily like or respect them though.
Ishida: Chatted once or twice. No real strong feelings otherwise, but as Yue Ying's foster son, that keeps Kabuto from thinking of him as a potential source of amusement. Thinks that he's a little obsessed with the concept of self-sacrifice, but Kabuto can respect that. Respects Ishida's rigidity a bit less though.
Rey: Rey reminds Kabuto in a slightly odd way of Kimimaro. Recognising Rey's fanatacism, Kabuto is keeping relations cordial while contemplating the ways in which he might manipulate him. Kabuto worries however, that Rey is also unstable enough to both be useless and drag anyone in his vicinity down with him.
Momoko: Kabuto doesn't really care much about the Wedding Angel- she's a useful source of help in culinary matters though, and helping her out is simple enough and is good for his own image. Factoring that along with her being close to Heather, Kabuto tries to act the gentleman around Momoko.
Lee: While Lee would normally wind up in the next category, he's so much like a giant puppy dog that even Kabuto finds it hard to contemplate giving him any sort of hell. Also, Lee owes him favours- no sense in wasting them by antagonising him
Suzurono Haruka: She was appreciative enough of his medical skills at the right point that Kabuto doesn't feel inclined to do anything to her at the moment, even if an opportunity presented itself.
Edward: Respects both his obvious skill and his attitude towards things. Is looking to be friendly towards in order to further research alchemy.
Urahara: Is not going to go and mess with the only anywhere reliable pipeline to the outside physical world and fresh supplies.
Sakura: Sakura started out as someone merely Amusing, but went straight to Disliked when she helped steal his pants. Now however, she's been relegated to Not Worth It, mostly on account of how she owes him twice over, and messing with her has been demonstrated to call down several pissed-off 'husbands'. Kabuto still thinks that however her capabilities have improved though, she's still somewhat pathetic for her chasing of Sasuke and what he sees as projecting frustration over that onto him.
Il Palazzo: Il Palazzo has both the resources and mystery about him to make Kabuto regard him as untouchable for now- the fact that the medic nin is now a member of ACROSS, helps.
Athrun: Kabuto respects Athrun's obvious competence in his own field, as evidenced by the time they built an EMP device together. In time, Kabuto may well upgrade him to Likes, but for now the respect he has for the pilot and the favours owed by keeps him at Curious/Not Worth It.
Ling Tong: Dude knocked down, and used his bare hands to shut the mouth of, a polar bear
the size of a house. Person like that, you don't mess with him casually.
Sunako: Sunako is... weird. Weird enough to wig out Kabuto slightly and keep him from messing about with her.
Omi: Smart, friendly, and useful for now. Also grateful for how the assistance and support given to Heather during the kidnapping.
Ami: She'd normally make a great target for subtle jabs and light mischief, but seeing as how she's looking to lighten his workload, Kabuto's refraining from anything against her. Also, her computer bears investigating.
Tom Riddle: Kabuto is to a certain extent reminded of Orochimaru- except that now with Riddle's rather public problems and Evangeline's opinion on the quality of his wares, the mage isn't likely to be useful to him in any way. To be kept track of, but not approached.
Sousuke: Reminds him in a way of Kimimaro. Finds his limited worldview amusing, and appreciates the gift of Bonta-Robbie. May prove a useful tool as long as he's cultivated properly.
Amusing- these indivuals are worth prodding and he may take any opportunity that presents itself to inject a little misery into their lives to entertain him.
Hinata: Borderline. While she's an old patient of his, Hinata is so easy to fluster that Kabuto can't help throwing a few gentle jabs and pokes at her insecurities every now and then. He probably wouldn't go any further than that, if only because of the Itachi-Neji alliance.
Alphonse: Ah, Alphonse, it's really your fault you've been downgraded. With Al out of the armour and obviously not going to give him the secrets of that, Al has little to offer Kabuto (outside the lessons, which are available to everyone). Kabuto's figured out that Al is nervous and avoiding him because of Itachi warning him, and that...
irks the medic nin. Anything direct against Al are of course, out of the question, if only because of tbut now Kabuto's looking to simply unnerve Alphonse in as unoffensive a manner as possible- such as when he seconded Cal's nomination- as, if he's going to be an object of fear, he might as well get some fun out of it.
Chouji: Amused himself by planting the idea that the Director had done something to Shikamaru in Chouji's head, Kabuto sees the Akimichi heir as gullible and friendly enough to provide opportunities for entertainment.
Excel: Kind of like Lee, but without any attendant guilt in kicking
her. Having now intereacted with her somewhat, Kabuto is confident that if he does things right, she'll provide endless hours of entertainment, as he's pegged her as easily played with the right buttons (Il Palazzo, Il Palazzo and anything to do with Il Palazzo). He won't go too far though, as she's grown on him in a weird way- kind of like how a child will alternately torment and play with a puppy.
Sasuke: Yes, Sasuke winds up in this category. Kabuto honestly doesn't actually
like him, thinking that the Uchiha lets his obssesion direct him in stupid ways, though he respects Sasuke's capabilities. Kabuto also vaguely dislikes Sasuke, though he'll
never admit it, because of how he's reminded of what he used to be like. While Kabuto will follow his mission to ensure the return of the runaway genin faithfully, that doesn't mean he can't have a little bit of fun with him in the meantime.
Naruto: Like Sasuke, Naruto reminds Kabuto on several levels of himself, which irritates him immensely. Couple that with the fact that Naruto can make a very easy target at times, and Kabuto has no compunction against needling him or subtly sending trouble his way. The presence of so many Konoha nins makes anything more potentially dangerous to the Jinchuuriki a no-no though, even if Kabuto developed enough of an animosity towards Naruto to want to do so.
Dislikes- these souls have offended Kabuto enough that he'll actually work at engineering opportunities to mess with them, as opposed to simply taking whatever comes his way. He'll also probably be openly rude to them.
Ash Ketchum: Probably the biggest irritant to Kabuto at camp, Ash's every word and action grates on him with it's stupidity. Nowadays, he's a little more resigned to the idiocy that is Ash, but he probably wouldn't hesitate to dispose of the Trainer in a highly painful way if he could guarantee he wouldn't be found out. Is also frustrated that some people don't seem to get that Ash needs to learn certain things soon, and most other measures haven't worked yet.
James: Proof that yes, Ash's entire world
is some sort of inane hell. While James does seem to at least have the benefit of antagonising Ash, the solo Rocket is almost as grating.
Brock: Not only is he Ash's friend, but Brock annoyed Kabuto during the attempted sentencing with his unwavering (and to Kabuto, ill-founded) support of Ash. He'll be relatively polite, but would like to hurt Ash not only for it's own sake, but to distress Brock as well.
Yuusuke: Yuusuke may actually get his own category. These two just rub each other the wrong way, but Kabuto, even though he views Yuusuke as a rude and crude neanderthal, will admit that the spirit detective has enough wits and common sense about him that he can't be simply dismissed. Add into the mix that Yuusuke's Shonen Retardedness rubs off on Kabuto at times, leading to bonding over insults or fistfights, and Kabuto has at the same time a fair dislike
and grudging respect for Yuusuke. Though he's Disliked, Kabuto isn't going to pull anything as long as Yuusuke owes him for helping Sakura.
Frightened- these indivuals are viewed as highly dangerous and to be avoided when possible.
Itachi: The Akatsuki Uchiha is both highly powerful and has a reason to go after Kabuto thanks to his allegiance to Orochimaru. As a result, Kabuto, when forced to confront Itachi, defaults to a nervous deference for as long as it takes to make a discreet retreat. Being stalked by Itachi whenever he nears certain indivuals doesn't help much.

Doesn't really like at all: 'first name', no suffix (Yuusuke, Ash, Brock, James)
